Solution Manager 7.2 -: Change Request Creation using ChaRM

In SAP Solution Manager Change Request Management controls the creation, release, and import of the transport requests within the system landscape. Transport requests created through Change Request Management automatically get assigned to a CTS project.

Following are the steps involved in creating the Change Request in SAP Solution Manager 7.2 using ChaRM

1- Change Request creation –

Change Request Creation will be performed by the Change Manager. Below are the steps to Create the Change Request in Solution Manager.

Step 1– Log in as Change Manager

 

 

Step 2– Enter T-CODE SM_CRM to access the ChaRM

 

Step 3- Click on Create Request for Change

 

 

Step 4- Click on Edit and enter the description in the description box also enter the user ids in the subsequent fields i.e.  Change Manager, Change Advisory Board and Technical Lead

 

 

Step 5- Enter the cycle detail

 

 

 

Step 6 – We can enter the other details like RISK, although it is not mandatory but if required it can be selected as High, Medium, or Low

In Category Section category need to be filled in Category 1 box.

 

 

Step 7- Insert the Scope Normal Change or Urgent Change


Step 8- Enter the description in the description box
